Lluvia Rug is handwoven on a traditional pedal loom in Teotitlán del Valle, Oaxaca, using hand-spun wool dyed exclusively with natural indigo. Inspired by the rhythm of rainfall over the Oaxacan mountains, it reinterprets the traditional Montañitas motif through a contemporary design lens.
Layered shades of natural indigo create depth and movement, echoing rain-soaked landscapes and the changing tones of the sky. Woven by skilled artisans using generations-old techniques, Lluvia is both a functional textile and a timeless work of design.
Each rug is individually handwoven, making every piece unique in pattern, color, and character.
